Outpatient
Counseling Family Support
YCR offers individual, group, and family counseling to help youth, young adults, and their families address behavioral health concerns, improve communication, strengthen relationships, and build long-term strategies for success and stability.
Residential Crisis Bed Program

YCR will offer a Youth Crisis Residence for youth ages 12–17 who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis and are unable to safely remain in the community without additional support. The Youth Crisis Residence will provide short-term residential stabilization in a safe, structured, and therapeutic setting designed to support recovery, family reunification, and a successful return to the community.
Partial Hospitalization Program
YCR’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides a higher level of outpatient care for youth and young adults who need intensive daily therapeutic support and structure. PHP is designed to help individuals stabilize, reduce symptoms, strengthen coping skills, and prevent hospitalization while remaining connected to family and community.
Intensive Outpatient Program
YCR’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers structured, therapeutic support for youth and young adults who need more than traditional outpatient therapy but do not require inpatient or residential care. Services are provided three days per week and focus on emotional stabilization, skill-building, relapse prevention, and strengthening coping strategies while individuals continue living at home.
Supported Employment Program
Serving Prince George’s County Youth Ages 16–25
At Youth Crisis Residents (YCR), we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to achieve independence, financial stability, and a meaningful future. Our Supported Employment Program helps transitional-age youth (TAY), ages 16–25, overcome barriers to employment and successfully enter or re-enter the workforce while managing behavioral health, educational, housing, or life challenges.

Partnering with parents to guide youth through crisis.
YCR offers a safe, supportive space for stabilization and growth during challenging times. Referred by families, schools, community organizations, law enforcement, or YCR outreach, participants may have run away, been locked out of their homes, struggled with school attendance, or shown unmanageable behavior.
